Hamilton, ON - For the last four years
Mastermind Studio has recorded more than 350 songwriters and
bands. Founded in a humble home-based studio, the company’s
headquarters have upgraded to a Pilchner-Schoustal designed
studio on the Hamilton escarpment. |
|
|
|
Building a reputation for superior quality
recordings, along with selling single songs and offering
discounts based on song volume, Mastermind has amassed a loyal
following in the modern rock, metal and heavy music fields. It
is no surprise that the studio is branching out to Mastermind
the record label. |
|
|
|
For almost two years, Mastermind and sister
company BLR Entertainment has been working with the duo known as
Raggedy Angry, featuring two self-proclaimed introverted geeks
who make guitar-based electro music. On their own, the band will
have amassed a staggering 100,000 plays (that's 500 plays every
day) and 50,000 friends on MySpace.com. |

Mastermind Records hosts what will prove to be an exciting
launch party on March 7th at The Kathedral during Rogers
MusicStore Canadian Music Week, showcasing some of their
favourite acts, including Raggedy Angry. |

|
In addition to their Rogers MusicStore CMW performance, you can
also expect to see Raggedy Angry perform live at the Rogers
Spring Music Festival in Hamilton and at New Music West in
Vancouver, both in May 08. |

For the launch, Mastermind Records will present one of the most
controversial and up-and-coming, buzz-worthy acts from the L. A.
scene. More details will follow on our headliner, but you won’t
miss anything if you show up for Raggedy Angry at 11:00 p.m. |
